Majestic Ridge Golf Club Staff

The staff at Majestic Ridge Golf Club is spearheaded by PGA Golf Professional John J. Rogers. Rogers has been the golf professional at Majestic Ridge since its inception 18 years ago. As the Director of Golf, he has the responsibility of overseeing the entire golf operation and has Terry L. Gontz as his PGA Professional. Both professionals conduct many group and individual lessons as well as organizing ten leagues for the golf club. The staff works very diligently on the more than 30 charity and fundraising tournaments, corporate outings and membership events throughout the golf season.

In recent years, Rogers, who was President of the Central Counties Chapter of the Philadelphia Section PGA from 2005-2007, has been honored with the prestigious Horton Smith Award from the Philadelphia Section PGA in 2002, 2004, 2005, 2006, and 2009. This award is in recognition for his exceptional work in the field of PGA education. In addition, Rogers was named Golf Professional of the Year in 2003, an award presented by the CCCPGA. He served as the Vice President of Section Affairs for the Philadelphia Section PGA from 2008-2009 and is a former member of the Executive Board of Directors of the Philadelphia Section PGA and the National PGA Education Committee. Most recently, Rogers was honored with being named a 2009 National finalist for the PGA's Horton Smith Award.
