Majestic Ridge Golf Club Staff

The staff at Majestic Ridge Golf Club is lead by PGA Golf Professional John J. Rogers. Rogers has been the golf pro at Majestic Ridge since its inception 17 years ago. As the Director of Golf, he has the responsibility of overseeing the entire golf operation and has Terry L. Gontz as his Head Professional. Both professionals conduct many group and individual lessons as well as organizing the League play for the golf club. The staff works very diligently on the more than 30 tournament and corporate outings in addition to the many membership events throughout the golf season.

In recent years, Rogers, who was President of the Central Counties Chapter of the Philadelphia Section PGA from 2005-2007, has been honored with the prestigious Horton Smith Award from the Philadelphia Section PGA in 2002, 2004, 2005, and 2006. This award is in recognition for his exceptional work in the field of PGA education. In addition, Rogers was named Golf Professional of the Year in 2003, an award presented by the CCCPGA. He is currently the Vice President of Section Affairs for the Philadelphia Section and is a member of the Executive Board of Directors and the National PGA Education Committee.
